I just arrived and my first impression has been very positive. The staff have been welcoming, professional, and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The hotel looks clean, well-maintained, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The lobby and common areas are beautifully presented, creating a great first impression. The location also seems very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Highly recommend!

I had ramen at a rooftop pool with an incredible view of the Han River, 63 Building, Signiel, and Namsan Tower. They offered four kinds of ramen: Neoguri, Shin Ramyun, Shin Ramyun Toowoomba, and Chapagetti. If you can’t handle spicy food, I’d recommend Chapagetti. I tried the Shin Ramyun Toowoomba, and it was absolutely delicious. They also serve Lotte Hotel kimchi on the side, and the combination was amazing. I especially recommend grabbing a draft beer from the rooftop bar next door, Floating. Maybe because I had it after swimming, but it tasted incredibly smooth with no bitterness at all!

This was our second stay at the same hotel, and this time we received a room upgrade thanks to our L7 membership, which was a lovely benefit. Unfortunately, our room was located right next to a construction site, and the noise was quite loud—even earplugs couldn’t block it out. There was already construction going on when we stayed here two years ago, and surprisingly, it is still ongoing this year. Because of the noise, we didn’t get as much rest as we had hoped. Aside from that, everything else was excellent and we were very impressed with our stay. One feature we especially appreciated was the luggage locker service. The lockers are very spacious—even our large 30-inch suitcase fit inside easily, which was extremely convenient. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay, but the construction noise was definitely the biggest downside this time.

Plus: Central location in Hongdae, close proximity to any shopping, eating and busking locations, great connectivity via buses and trains, daily cleaning services (aunty is friendly), free refillable water points along rooms' corridor. Minus: Room space is small (pictured is the triple room) - there will be barely/no space to move around if all three luggages are open, additional fee required for pool access. Tldr great value for great location, downside is rooms are small.

Stayed: April 17–25 Rate: SGD 308 per night ​Pros: ​- Great Location ​- The rooms are well-maintained. ​- The bed is comfortable. - Excellent shower. ​- Housekeeping is efficient and prompt. ​Cons: ​- We had issues with the air conditioning; despite adjusting the settings, the temperature kept rising. Because of the thick duvet, we ended up perspiring in our sleep. ​- Requested a thinner blanket to help with the heat, but unfortunately, they didn't have any. - The most disappointing part was the lack of empathy regarding checkout. We requested a late checkout because a friend was unwell, but we were rejected immediately and told we had to pay for a 45-minute extension. Final Verdict: Expect minimum service and zero flexibility. Only stay here if you are okay with a rigid management style. Will probably not come back again.

This place is in a great location, just a short walk from many food spots and shopping. There’s also a subway station nearby for easy access. The rooftop bar offers a view and delicious drinks. The rooms are spacious for the area. The only downside that makes it a 4-star hotel is the elevator situation. The lines and wait times are long and frustrating.

Each time my family and I stayed at L7 hongdae we had an amazing experience. It is the nicest hotel in the area of hongdae with clean rooms and showers. The area is amazing and extremely convenient placed in the center of Hongdae. The view from the hotel is amazing and the staff is very kind. I highly recommend staying in this hotel!

We stayed at L7 Hongdae and had a really great time. The biggest highlight of this hotel is its location — everything is so convenient! Cafes, restaurants, and shops are all just steps away. The lounge area is lovely, and they also have a rooftop restaurant, which is a nice bonus. But the absolute best part was the cleaning staff — they were incredibly kind and did an excellent job cleaning the room every single day. If you’re staying in Hongdae, this is definitely the place to stay!

2.5 stars First the negatives: --The breakfast buffet was terrible in terms of quality and selection. --There were no chairs in the room, just a stool, so it was impossible to use the desk. --The beds were quite uncomfortable. --The room was extremely small and cramped, especially considering the cost. -- Only disposable paper cups were provided (no ceramic mugs or glasses), which made it seem strange that the hotel does not provide toothpaste "for the environment." Now the positives: --Relatively clean. --Nice desk staff and cleaners. --Location, location, location. Basically, the hotel is very overpriced and does not offer a 4-star experience. I expect more from Lotte hotels and was quite disappointed. We will definitely not stay at L7 again.

The bad things: The bathroom lacked a shower curtain, which caused water to spread across the entire bathroom after each shower. Construction was taking place right next to the hotel, starting early in the morning and continuing throughout the day, which made the stay somewhat uncomfortable. Noise from cleaning in nearby rooms was easily heard in the mornings. Only paper cups were provided, which felt inconvenient and low-quality for a hotel stay. Main issue: The sound insulation was extremely poor. Noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway could be clearly heard, greatly affecting comfort and privacy. Overall: L7 Hotel has a great location and some appealing facilities, but several aspects could be improved. Better sound insulation and more investment in room quality would significantly enhance the guest experience.

It was our first time in Seoul, Korea so we wanted to stay central to Hongdae and booked L7! We were very happy with our stay here. The location of this hotel was perfect as it was walking distance to Hongdae and Yeonnam-dong area. It has very easy access to public transport for the subway, buses and airport limousine. The staff were very friendly, efficient and accommodating. We booked the Standard Double for our 5 night stay and it was quite affordable. The room was very clean and spacious. It was nice that we also had a view of the N Seoul Tower as well. It made the stay just that extra special during the sunrise/sunset. Would highly recommend staying here! :) P.S. if you’re a gamer and a big fan of T1 - the T1 Basecamp is very close by. My partner was thrilled about that as well!
