It’s been 4 days since I had my procedure done and I’ve recovered enough to type this. I think that the clinic’s consultant and translator were really unprofessional in the sense that they oversold the procedure and under declared the downtime and risks involved. They told me that the procedure was absolutely painless and that I won’t feel a thing and I won’t remember a thing and that there was 0 downtime. They said that patients who went through these procedures could go shopping, eating, working right away without any worries or discomfort. I agreed to the procedure and it turned out to be different from what they described. The procedure required me to be awake and this was after they strapped me down. Then the translator in the operating theatre told me I will feel pain and kept saying in mandarin, hang in there darling. It was simply traumatic… After the procedure the doctor told me (which was translated) that my eyes may be blurry for a week, I cant lie down or bend my head, touch water because the stitches in my eyes would burst open. This was completely different from what was advised and I had to stay in the hotel for a few days cause my eyes couldn’t really open or see. My friends asked me if I would give the same review if I ended up looking good and I think I would because regardless I think the translator / consultant should be more honest

It will have been one month in three days since I underwent several procedures at the clinic, and here is my impression at this stage (although it may change in the coming months, and I hope it does). The first procedure was double eyelid surgery only on the outer corner. I am almost completely satisfied with the result. Overall, the healing process went well, except for the right eye where the sutures left small bumps, but that should go away over time. The second procedure was under-eye fat repositioning, and I have to say that so far it’s a big disappointment… I don’t see any results at all. I know my dark circles have always been there—I think it’s genetic—which is why I initially asked for injections (Juvelook, for example). But I was told surgery would be better? Looking back, I wonder if they just wanted me to spend more money… I do not recommend this procedure if your issue is simply the color of your dark circles. Finally, I asked for lip injections, which turned out to be the second disappointment… The result was terrible: lumps everywhere, a deformed mouth, and a very unnatural look. I had to book an appointment at another clinic to have everything dissolved. And once again, the clinic wanted to inject 2cc even though I already had a naturally full base. I had to insist that 1cc would be more than enough. Once again, I feel like they were just trying to make me spend more money. To conclude, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this clinic if you are a foreigner. I felt a difference in how I was treated, the welcome was very mixed, no one speaks English, and you won’t feel comfortable there. Having visited other clinics afterward, I can say the level of service is completely different... :(

I have a lot to say, but to maintain readability, I’ll keep it short and factual. My main goal was to address age-related eyelid sagging with both forehead lifting and jawline lifting. My jawline wasn’t significantly sagging, so I intended to get a minimal treatment for maintenance. The main focus was my eyelids, which were increasingly sagging. Instead of opting for a more invasive forehead lift, I decided to try a thread lift for a more subtle result. Since thread lifts are a fairly common and straightforward procedure, I assumed most clinics would do a decent job. On the day of my consultation, I went in with the intention of discussing the procedure, but I ended up undergoing the surgery with local sedation on the same day. My expectation was simple: if the thread lift improved the eyelid sagging even slightly, I’d be satisfied. During the consultation, the doctor lifted my eyelids and asked if the result would be satisfactory. I said I’d be more than happy with that result, and the consultation ended on a positive note. Right after the procedure, when I woke up and looked in the mirror, I noticed no visible improvement in the sagging of my eyelids. Although my expectations were low, the results were essentially non-existent. I mentioned this to the clinic immediately, but they told me to wait for the swelling to subside and give it some time, so I went home. The next day, I called the clinic again to express my concerns. They advised me to wait a week, citing swelling as the reason for the lack of visible results. However, anyone who has had a thread lift knows that the results are typically noticeable immediately after the procedure. Despite this, I waited. When the doctor asked post-surgery if I felt my eyes opened more easily, I honestly didn’t feel any difference. A week later, as expected, there was no visible improvement. I went back to the clinic to discuss this, and that’s when things took a turn. The doctor started treating me like a difficult, refund-seeking client. He raised his voice and insisted that the sagging had improved, showing me before-and-after photos as proof. However, the “before” photo showed me staring straight ahead with fully open eyes, while the “after” photo showed me looking slightly downward with partially closed eyes. Both the doctor and the coordinator claimed my double eyelid crease had widened, indicating improvement, but I genuinely wondered if they thought I was foolish enough to believe that. Initially, I found their behavior laughable, but as they continued to treat me like a problematic client, I became genuinely upset. I didn’t come in demanding a refund; I simply wanted to discuss potential alternatives or hear what the clinic could offer given the unsatisfactory results. Instead, the doctor insisted he had done his best and could do nothing more, essentially asking what else I expected. During the consultation, I was treated like a valued customer, but when I raised a legitimate concern, they dismissed me as a difficult client. Frustrated, I raised my voice as well, and eventually, the coordinator stepped in, apologized, and escorted me out. She promised to take care of the matter and even took my contact information to follow up. Over a month has passed since then, and I have yet to hear from them. So much for “taking extra care.” Conclusion: The clinic failed in every aspect: the procedure, their response to concerns, and post-surgery care. This was truly a legendary experience—for all the wrong reasons.

I had a very disappointing experience with Manager Koo at UCANB Plastic Surgery. I went in for a consultation regarding facial lifting but decided I needed more time to think it over. The manager offered me a discounted rate if I paid a 100,000 won deposit, assuring me it would be fully refundable if I chose not to proceed. After deciding against the procedure, I requested a refund. Unfortunately, Manager Koo ignored my phone calls and texts for two days. The front desk was unhelpful, stating it wasn’t their concern and that they would ask the manager to reach out to me. Eventually, I managed to contact Manager Koo, who promised to refund the deposit by the following Friday. However, when Friday came, I still hadn’t received it. After calling her again, she requested my bank account details but then failed to deposit the money. I ended up having to reach out to the hospital again with screenshots of our previous conversations before she finally processed my refund. This experience was unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend this clinic, and I advise anyone to avoid putting down a deposit until you have met with the doctor and confirmed a procedure date/time.
