シャンシーメイヨーの施術を予約して、さっき終わって帰ってきました。診察の体験は想像以上に良かったです。医師はまず私の希望を聞いてから、私が望む効果は別の方法でも達成できると言ってくれました。高価な施術を勧めるのではなく、専門的なアドバイスをしてから、最終的には私自身に決めさせてくれました。施術中、医師は常に集中しており、私の反応をリアルタイムで観察しながら手技を調整してくれました。各ステップの前には、次にどのような感じになるかを事前に教えてくれたので、心の準備ができていました。全体の進行も非常に丁寧でした。カンナム駅から数分歩くだけで到着でき、場所も探しやすかったです。期待以上の体験で、何か不当な扱いを受けたという感じは全くありませんでした。

I had the best time here! The people are really nice, the place is clean and pretty, and the makeup and styling are perfect! I don’t like or do makeup much but I felt very comfortable and pretty here, haha!

Experience was a disappointment - it was stated that it will take around 120 minutes but I was done in less than 60 minutes. I tried telling the instructor that it was too red for my liking but she didn’t get it. End result wasn’t the natural korean make up look expected as well.

I try to avoid leaving poor reviews, but my experience here was SO bad that I felt like others should take this into consideration when booking a service from this place. Context: my boyfriend and I are Korean-Americans and thought it'd be nice to take hanbok pictures and use them as our engagement photos, so we booked the "Couple Package" for hair and make-up via Naver. For our 10am appt, we did arrive 10mins late, so I'm sure that irritated the owner -- and while I do own up to this, please keep in mind that this studio is a good walk uphill from the subway station (i.e. I was already dreading the thought of walking back after my make-up was done). The owner let us know that we'd be delayed since we were tardy (which I understood), but said it as if there were people after us and that we'd be pushing them back. Later I saw a post-it up of the appts booked that day and noticed that there was only one other party after us and it was at 12:30, so a good 30mins after we were supposed to finish. The actual service was horrible. I wanted an atypical hairdo (half up in a bun, and the bottom half also up in a bun -- so that I can undo this bottom half later for a more casual look). She said it would look funny so we settled on a half-up look. She curled the bottom half, but it was very loose so I asked her to make the waves/curls tighter because I knew it would get loose/undone before our 1pm photo shoot. She lectured me like a child citing her experience and saying that it would not look right or my hair was not the right length, etc. I felt dismissed and treated poorly. Her attitude was very off-putting. Once she was done, she just left with no mention of going anywhere or that we were finished. The associate took over and did her best to accommodate us -- she did my boyfriend's hair/make-up and my make-up. I'll give credit to the associate for trying to salvage the owner's mess. In short, there are enough hair/make-up places in Seoul, and ones that are definitely more friendly. Do yourself a favor and skip booking this place.

Amazing experience at Beauty Palace in Seoul! The team was so professional and kind, and my hair and makeup turned out beautiful—better than I expected. They really listened to the look I wanted and executed it perfectly. I left feeling so confident. Highly recommend!

Did Hanbok Make Up here and the make up is so pretty ! The staffs were very friendly and so sweet. They helped me thru out my journey here as I got a little bit lost. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a makeup class and value for your money… I usually wouldn’t write a review on someone else’s business like this but did not have a good experience at all… My sister came here and left looking like a geisha/ghost even though she chose a simple natural style make up and mentioned continuously to the MUA during the entire consultation that she wanted a natural and light makeup look. She kept getting shut down and told no very rudely by the lady and wasn’t listened to at all. She asked my sister to try draw the eyeliner herself and when she tried the MUA said “you’re supposed to draw makeup to make you look PRETTIER not like this” in such a derogatory manner. The whole point was to have a 1:1 consultation to learn and this was an utter disappointment. The colour consultation was also very mid and the entire appointment just felt rushed and like a factory rather than an actual enjoyable experience. At the end my sister was unhappy with the look because it was so bad it was embarrassing to walk out looking like that and she asked for something to wipe some off but the lady refused saying she had the next client coming in. She could have at least given her a wet wipe to help her… (please bear in mind we are ethnically Korean so we expected for her to be experienced doing Korean people’s makeup)… In addition, when I was accompanying my sister for the first part of the appointment, she had a rude attitude but not enough for me to think much of it, BUT after I left, there was no one else in the salon but the two of them and she apparently became much worse because no one else was there. This is particularly concerning and not great to feel such hostility when in a foreign country and also as paying customers (it’s not cheap at all). Overall very disappointed to have spent money here, feels like a tourist trap, honestly quite a rude lady (eg. Snatching the mirror from her hands and continuous negative interactions like this). Not sure if the person was having a bad day or in a difficult situation but really wouldn’t recommend this place sadly… — RESPONSE TO THE REPLY: I understand and would usually not leave a review however although I was not even permitted to see the makeup consultation of my sister, I was sat in the seating area next to it and could hear what was being said and could see the attitude of the makeup artist as I also met them and was there at the location at the time accompanying the client (my sister). Secondly, I have photo evidence of the abysmal makeup done before and after but due to privacy reasons are withholding. I do not think anyone would be happy with the results that we received and the negative impatient attitude of the staff response when mentioning feedback about the makeup received. Lastly, because we speak both English and Korean fluently we were able to experience both sides of what people should expect to receive here and so I am leaving an accurate and honest review of our time at this place.

An amazing experience with the i Idol Makeup and hair styling session for my daughter. Very highly professional and kind staff. A wonderful location near Gyeongbokgung Palace!❤️❤️❤️

Teacher Grace was very patient and recommended the best tone for my skin during the colour analysis. I used them now during shopping for clothes and cosmetics that complement my skin. The 1:1 makeup was very good to learn about korean makeup, which was light, airy, and just easier to apply once you get used to it. I can't wait to try them and practice more to have that korean makeup 😍. She speaks good English and everything was easy to understand and follow. Highly recommend this place if you come to Seoul and want to elevate your style/makeup.

The shop was beautifully decorated and clean, huge range of makeup to choose from Very attentive, everything was amazing! Professional services. Would recommend to those who like to try makeup experience
